Default Team Fortress 2

Let me say this; I am absolutely in love with this game. The gameplay is well-balanced, not to mention that the lines delivered by the nine classes are hilarious.

So, who else plays the game?

I've played it and aspire to grab it sometime. Why people haven't created a topic for this before now is beyond me.

I agree. TF2 is amazing.
And I've only played it twice at a LAN cafe, both times a year apart.

What's your favorite class?

Mine would have to be either Demoman or Heavy.

I have a couple of questions for you well educated types.

Does a CD of TF2 run faster than a version off of Steam?
and
If you have to reformat your PC or delete the game, can you re download it off of Steam?

Thanks.

1. When you use the CD it automatically installs Steam on your computer. From that point on the CD is unnecessary to play the game. Buying it straight from Steam will end up with the same results.

2. Steam keeps track of whatever games are stored under your username. If a game is uninstalled, it should let you reinstall it.

Soldier for the freaking win.

I like medic too though, reason being that all you have to do is follow around someone good and your points end up skyrocketing with minimal effort.

I really like playing TF2 but the only problem I have with the game is that it lags a little in picture frame and sometimes sound but that's barely a problem.

During the free weekend, I played mostly as Spy and Scout.

Scouts are fun even if they suck at not-dying.

Alright guys, I caved and bought TF2 off of Steam. So look for friendship requests from mudkip621 or mlustins if I get bored.

I tend to play it more on Xbox LIVE than through Steam because my computer doesn't even have a GB of RAM, but whenever I'm on a different computer I should be online.
