This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Could just do a clean install and get rid of the crap. 1GB would work.

How much RAM should you have if you are running Vista? Somebody installed it on my old computer, and now I'm scared to fully boot the damn thing up.

I run 8 because I can. My brother runs 2 and it runs ok after what I consider a long boot time.

I have 223 MB of RAM, and my computer starts to smoke if you push it too hard. Any ideas how I can get my files from that computer?

Exactly, any computer with a fourth of a gig of ram is old and should have been replaced by now.

Well I could put a 256MB stick of RAM in my computer and it wouldn't be an old PC.

I have only 1gb of ram on my laptop that is running Vista. I got it when Vista first came out so not much was released with more then 2gb's at the time. My laptop is currently waiting for an upgrade, but has to wait till I have money coming in.

My desktop computer is about 4 years old and I have upgraded it twice (graphics card and ram) and is ready for a third and proberly last upgrade of the CPU but also has to wait just like my laptop.

I am also planning to build myself a gaming PC, hopefully before the end of the year.

make sure nothing's been recently installed that could've fucked with the drivers settings. if that's all good then go to the sound card manufacturers website for the newest drivers.

For Windows 2000 that is more than sufficient. I could happily run that.

Although I'd need an external HDD/another internal for anime.

I HAVE RETURNED.

Anyways, I pose a question for you all. You see, I go to school, and they block many sites and do not allow anyone to axcess them(WTF BLOCKING INDIVIDUAL WIKIPEDIA PAGES? I CAN'T SEARCH XBOX ON WIKIPEDIA?). I can, however, install aol on any computer that I use there and axcess any site/page I want. My question is though, how the fuck does that work?

Another question too, how often do 2 video cards in an SLI setup both die?
