want to know how to put images on forum? X3

it seems as though some ppl don't know how to put images on the forum and I had a problem too and had to find out through trial and error. So I will tell you if I am allowed to <_<. Its very simple

first u have to upload a pic obviously either on myspace or photobucket or whatever

when u want to put the image on the forum u click the button above the area u are typing that says "img"

then u paste the url of where the image is located right after (no spaces)

last u push the img button again and click submit and voila =D

Told you it was easy =D

This is a test, just put the url in between the img tags, nothing else. the comment could be placed next in a bold type..

You can't write on the picture; the picture is located on a url, so you can't change the picture content, you can write below it in bold.
If you're trying to do something like people did in the contest then you just have to make a picture and then host it somewhere, as declared above.
By the way do you speak arabic ?

what is a step by step guide to using image shack. I can make images come up like this

Ok, I am having the same problem as post 9, i have followed all the steps you guys have told me, including the photobucket img code and when i preview, the image missing symbol still came up.
here is the error message it gives me

Thats more than likely the web address in the address bar perhaps than the actual image address??? Thats not an image address~ I have no idea where you'd get something like thatXD

1. The easiest way to get the image address is with Fire Fox Right Click the image~
Then Click "Copy Image Location"

With Internet Explorer You may have to go to properties and manually copy the address~ I'm not sure because I don't use crappy web browsersXD

If you uploaded it to Imageshack Copy the address in the bar that says "DIRECT LINK"~ If you take any of the links with tags or "=" signs it will break your image~
If you uploaded it in Photobucket you just need to click the info in "DIRECT LINK"~ It auto copies~

2. Then click "Ctrl + V" on your keyboard to paste between two image tags~ Or just right Click "Paste" If you don't like using keyboard shortcuts~
[*img][/img] (Without the asterisk)

For instance
[*img]http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z230/Bluesnow222/yotsuba_drill.jpg[/img] (Remove Asterisk)
And it looks like this when actually posted^.^"

and for those with crappy browsers, such as windows according to BLUESNOW, go to properties and copy the URL that comes up (its not the address with the picture of a picture next to it)
