I don't really know VAs but I always wondered how they found the Perfect voice for Haruko in both English and Japanese.

Spiritual interference...maybe. I believe the english voices being perfect is because Kazuya Tsurumaki (creator of FLCL), helped choose the English voice actors. This happened...unless I'm getting my useless trivia facts messed up.
As for Japan having the perfect Haruko voice. Well, it's common knowledge that Japan uses magic to determine voice actors (seiyu).

So is Kathleen Delany. Personally, I always thought Lani Minella did a much better job when it came to voicing Rouge the Bat.

I'm not too familiar with Japanese VAs so I'll save myself the trip to Wikipedia. :P

I'm surprised nobody has said Maddie Blaustein yet. From the voice of Meowth, to Solomon Mutou to Arngrim from Valkyrie Profile, Maddie Blaustein does the largest range of voices of anyone I've heard of in the business, and does them oh-so well. Personal favorite from her is still Arngrim though.

David Hayter is awesome. MGS definitely has some of the best voice acting in pretty much anything that needs dubbing...IN AMERICA!

Oh I frogot Light's voice actor from Death Note. Mostly because he can pull that laugh off so well, its kind of frightening.

If you get to meet many of them they're very nice and do listen to fans as they try to please in one of the hardest industry jobs since many fans are so conditioned to the original voices (both good and bad at times).

Dan Green- I just love his voice for Yami Yugi, as well as his voice for Yugi. Both are so passionate and emotional, especially Pharoah. He is a God and he's so awsome.

Veronica Taylor- She is a wonderfully talented voice actress. I always will love her voices for both Ash and May.

Eric Stuart- I always enjoy hearing his voices for both Brock and Kaiba and hearing the simarlities. To me, that's pretty entertaining. Both of those voices are some of the best that I've heard from him. Besides, his music is pretty darn cool.

Maddie Blaustein- She does have a great range of voices. I personally love her voices for Meowth from Pokemon and Satorious in GX, as while as her voice for Grandpa Mutou in Yu-Gi-Oh!. My personal favorite is a tie between Meowth and Satorious.

Wayne Grayson- Another talented voice actor with a large range of voices. Even though Joey's accent was kind of random, it was extememly well acted. I believe that he also did Shadi and Dartz. I personally love his voice for Syrus in GX, mainly because it is pretty cute, and so is Syrus.

Vic Mignogna- I haven't heard too much of his work, but I'm loving his voice for Dark in DN Angel. I also think that the opening theme for that series he did was excellent and so was the song he made for FMA.

And of course, LittleKuriboh. He has an amazing range of voices and he's excellent at doing all of them.

I find I only like a limited number of anime voice actors (Jonny Young Bach, Vic Mignona, others I don't know) but when I meet them in person they are all the coolest people. I will say that everyone who has ever dubbed Family Guy has my admiration because everyone on there does like 3 voices and I've never been able to tell who's who. The guy who does peter does stewie, quagmire and brian, and seth green does chris and half the additional voices as well as the voices on robot chicken. Now that's a professional.

Whoever did the voice of adult Goku - I can't stand his voice in the original Japanese version, I thought the English voice was infinitely better and suited Goku more, but maybe that's just because I'm used to it.

Dwight Shultz is god of voice actors! Dan Green, but thats a given' and the japanese atem from his duel with Jaden, he sounds awesome when he says 'Kami!' Also John Dimaggio(hope I spelt it right) is hilarious. Quinton Flynn as Henry in No More Heroes, he was awesome! Matt Stone and Trey Parker and Steve Downes for his kick-arse performance in NMH as Travis Touchdown

dan green and eric stuart are obviously amongst some of my favorites. laura bailey and eric vale are pretty awesome. i don't like rachael lillis much. i mean, she has a nice voice, but her voice sounds the same in every series she does, pretty much. i'll be watching, say, weiss kreuz (who she does a couple of voices for), and the whole time i'll be thinking "O HAI MISTY" or "don't they realize she sounds just like the girl in the last episode?" xD

also, i'm pretty sure rachael lillis voices jigglypuff. but don't quote me on anything. :P
