So, where to start. After watching the Abridged episodes more times than I can count, and then re-watching them twice that amount, I realised by hanging around the forums that LittleKuriboh makes a ton of cultural references in his episodes, and I had missed quite a lot of them. So I thought that we need a thread to share our findings with the other members so that we can all get the jokes that some might not recognise. Of course that required huge preparation, but after a week or so of hard work, I have finally compiled a list of all cultural refernces of Yu-Gi-Oh The Abridged Series that I could find.I have included the exact second when each of them takes place, although the timing might be a bit off depending on your version of the episode.

This list is not complete and is bound to have mistakes, so it needs your contributions. Please help by filling out any references I missed and completing or correcting ones that already exist (like the reason Rex Raptor referenced Charlie Brown in Episode 29). In the end is a small list of direct references to actual Yu-Gi-Oh episodes. I haven't watched any of those, so your help in them is even more appreciated.

This list will not include references to other Abridged episodes or to 4Kids and their censorships/changes to the Japanese version. And in case you didn't already know, Dan Green is the guy who voices Yugi and Yami in Yu-Gi-Oh.

EPISODE 1
(00:00) "Filmed before a live studio audience" was a common statement by announcers of 70s (or 80s) sitcoms.
(Ending) This is Master Shake from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force"

EPISODE 2
(Intro) Barney the Dinosaur is a cartoon show starring a purple dinosaur named Barney. The guy who voices Barney is the same who voices Tristan Taylor.
(01:10) Rocky Balboa is the protagonist of the movies Rocky. He is a professional boxer whose training sequences often appear as montages.
(01:52) The voices&personalities of Rex and Weevil have been substituted with those of Beavis and Butthead (of the MTV cartoon of the same name). The catchphrases and dumbed-down sexually-driven humour they use are characteristic of the show.
(02:48) This part parodies the movies The Ring, where a cursed videotape kills anyone who watches it within seven days.
(03:11) Yami's "You can see into my mind?" is a possible reference to Solid Snake's line from Metal Gear Awesome.
(03:36) The timer at the centre of the screen and the four panels around it parody the directing of TV series "24".
(03:48) Yami's "What'choo talkin' about, Pegasus" references Arnold Jackson's retort (and catchphrase) of "What'choo talkin' about, Willis" from "Diff'rent Strokes".
(Ending) This dialogue is from a Superman movie.

EPISODE 3
(Title) It's a reference to Celine Dion song "My Heart Will Go On" , the trademark song of the movie Titanic.
(02:08) L'Oreal is a cosmetics and beauty company whose products include hair shampoos and hair colouring. Its advertising slogan is, naturally, "L'Oreal, because I'm worth it".
(02:13) Solid Snake is the main character of stealth videogame series Metal Gear Solid.
(03:25) The song playing is the aforementioned Titanic trademark song "My Heart Will Go On".
(Ending) This stinger is from "The Return of the Jedi".

EPISODE 4
(Title) It's a reference to the books "Lord of the Flies", where children and teenager are trapped on a huge island.
(Intro) This is the opening sequence of the aforementioned Beavis and Butthead cartoon.
(00:28) Tristan confused "Lord of the Flies" with "Lord of the Rings", which star a tiny hobbit carrying an evil ring.
(01:08) The music and directing of these scenes parody the Kill Bill movies, which are based on revenge.
(01:31) "My limey senses are tingling" is a reference to Spiderman, who says "My spider sense is tingling" every time he senses danger.
(02:59) As you have guessed, in Beavis and Butthead, Beavis sometimes has a personality change into the Great Cornholio, who is constantly looking for "tp for his bunghole".
(04:00) Mothra is a fictional monster who first appeared in the novel The Luminous Fairies And Mothra.
(04:16) Yami's "Settle down, buttmunch" is a frequently used Butthead phrase
(Ending) This phrase comes from the intro of the movie Snakes On A Plane.

EPISODE 5
(Title) It's a reference to "My Funny Valentine", a jazz standard tune as well as the tune of the show Babes In Arms.
(00:00) The cereal box is an obvious rip-off of Cheerios.
(02:13) The sound effect and exclamation mark come from Metal Gear Solid.
(03:10) As he transforms, Yugi quotes Scrappy Doo's catchphrase.
(03:33) The song playing as Joey plays his Time Roulette is Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
(Ending) This dialogue is from a Star Wars movie.

EPISODE 6
(Title) This one is a reference to the TV series "Everybody Hates Chris".
(Intro) This is a reference to a Yu-Gi-Oh promotional video in which Yami states he would never smoke Marijuana.
(01:27) The Mission Impossible theme plays during Mokuba's escape.
(02:07) "Oh the humanity!" is a famous quote by newscaster Herbert Morrison stated during the Hindenburg zeppelin disaster.
(02:19) "Don't rock the boat" by Hues Corporation is a popular 1974 song ; it also plays during the ending credits.
(04:59) The music used during the "Time passes..." card is "Think!", also known as the Final Jeopardy! theme.

EPISODE 7
(Intro) All these scenes and dialogues parody various soap opera series. The song playing is "The Lonely Man" from The Incredible Hulk TV series.
(02:10) The music comes from Batman, and the "Kaiba-cave" is a reference to Batman's "Bat-cave".
(02:41) In the series StarTrek the characters using a computer had a habit of pressing the same keys over and over again.
(02:49) The Blue Screen of Death is what appears on Microsoft Windows every time something causes it to crash.
(Ending) This dialogue comes from a Futurama episode.

EPISODE 8
(Title) The title of the episode is a pun on the phrase "The plot thickens", which was popularly used by Sherlock Holmes but has entered English lexicon for when a story or situation becomes more complicated.
(00:00) The Children's Television Workshop is a production studio that is behind many public television educational shows, including "Sesame Street". "This show was brought to you by the CTW" was often announced after every episode.
(02:36) The song that plays during the Time Roulette scene is "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis & the News, feature in the film "Back to the Future" which was about time travel.
(03:03) The music that plays during Bakura's ominous introduction and throughout his menacing is "Ave Satani" from the film "The Omen".
(03:30) The cards that the gang holds here shows :
Yugi's : This boy is the Star Wars Kid, a very popular internet meme.
Tristan's : This is a character from the He-Man cartoon.
Tea's : This is Sailor Moon, protagonist of the anime of the same name.
Yugi's : This is the Black Mage from the webcomic 8-bit theatre.
Bakura's : This is Sephiroth from videogame Final Fantasy 7 and CGI movie Final Fantasy Advent Children.
(Ending) The ending stinger portrays Mokuba as "The N64 Kid".

EPISODE 9
(Title) This title is "The Card Games" in Spanish. The entire intro comes from the Spanish dub of Yu-Gi-Oh.
(00:35) "All your puzzles are belong to me" is a reference to the video game Zero Wing's "All your base are belong to us", and "Do Not Want!" is a reference to the Mandarin dub of "Star Wars III" which subtitled Darth Vader's "NOOOOO" as "Do Not Want". Both have become Internet memes.
(03:16) Zork and Pals, here and in all its later incarnations, parodies various comedy series.
(03:51) Arrested Development is a comedy series that got canceled abruptly.
(04:52) This "Finish Him" is what the announcer of the Mortal Kombat videogames says once a fight is over so that the winner can execute the final strike.
(Ending) This one is from Homestar Runner, more specifically Strong Bad's song "Trogdor" from the email 'dragon'.

EPISODE 10
(Title) This title is a reference to anime Neon Genesis Evengelion, which had an episode called "Both of You, Dance Like You Want To Win".
(00:49) The song and "dig it" quotes come from 1971 film "Shaft".
(01:06) This song and accompanying video are a direct parody of the opening of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
(01:46) This song is "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps.
(02:20) "I cast Magic Missle at the darkness" is an infamous Dungeons&Dragons phrase, it may have originated from an 8-bit Theatre animated clip that shows the Black Magician perform it.
(02:42) The images are from Yu-Gi-Oh GX. Joey calls it "Yu-Gi-Oh DMX" as a reference to the rapper whose song is playing, DMX. The song is called "X Gonna give it to ya".
(03:22) This song is "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash.
(03:53) The ending song is the ending of Neon Genesis Evangelion (itself a remix of "Fly me to the Moon").
(ending) The song is "She's a Maniac" by Flashdance and the video to the song involved the singer dancing.

EPISODE 11
(00:00) "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" was a popular TV series.
(00:10) Microsoft Flight Simulator is a Windows game where the player pilots an airplane.
(00:24) The scenes where Kaiba has green hair comes from the original Japan-release-only Yu-Gi-Oh series by Toei (also known as Yu-Gi-Oh Season Zero).
(01:06) Spice World is a movie starring the Spice Girls.
(01:33) Joey mistook Duel Monsters first for chess by saying "Checkmate" and then for board-game Battleship by saying "I sunk your battleship".
(02:11) Kaiba's "I'm here to kick ass and play card games" is a reference to Roddy Piper's "I'm here to kick ass and chew bubblegum" from "They Live".
(02:24) Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the people who would rally around her were called "Scoobies", a reference to the Mystery Machine gang of "Scooby-Doo".
(03:04) In the anime Beyblade, duels are fought with a spinning gyroscope tied to a string ; Kaiba's duel system is quite remniscient of it.
(03:09) In an old adventure game called Monkey Island, your character fights against other pirates with "insult swordplay" - you yell an insult to them and they win only if they find a suitable answer to it. The most famous of the lot was :
-You fight like a dairy farmer.
-How appropriate. You fight like a cow.
(03:18) The "giant enemy dragon" and "attack its weak point for massive damage" is a reference to the Sony E3 2006 press conference. Bill Ritch, who produced the game "Genji: Days of the Blade", said the game was authentic with battles in Ancient Japan, and then proceeded to say in regards to the ongame demo "Here's this giant enemy crab". He went on to say "You attack its weak point for massive damage".
(03:25) The whole U.S. dollars/Ridge Racer thing is also a reference to said conference. Specifically to Kaz Hirai's shout of "RIIIIDGE RACER" , along with his announcement that the PlayStation 3 would cost 599 "U.S. dollars". These quotes, along with Ritch's, have become Internet memes.
(04:59) Pegasus' phrase "Spice up your life" is a Spice Girls song (and so is the ending song, "Wannabe").
(05:04) The words appearing in all lowercase, their font and the brackets around them are indeed imitative of Adult Swim.
(Ending) Yami's quote is taken from an interview with Dan Green, where he muses on what life were to be like if he talked like Yami all the time.

(Title) This episode title is a reference to the film "Dawn of the Dead"
(00:12) "Kaibazilla" is a combination of "Kaiba" and "Godzilla", a huge fictional monster.
(00:26) The song playing as Joey wakes up from his dream is "Love to Love You Baby" by Donna Summer.
(02:03) "Alas poor Yorick, I knew him, Horatio" is a phrase from Hamlet ; the person saying it in the theatrical is holding a skull in his hand.
(03:22) This song is "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, the videoclip of which takes place in a graveyard.
(03:45) Bakura says "smeg", a reference to Red Dwarf where it is used as a common vulgarity.
(03:49) The song playing as the ball rolls is the "Katamari Damacy" theme; this game consists of rolling a giant ball over things.
(04:51) Serenity is a 2005 film written and directed by Joss Whedon. It is based on a TV series that got cancelled before all of the produced episodes were aired. The name of this series is, you guessed it, Firefly.
(05:09) Grues are fictional creatures known to populate dark caves popularized by the interactive fiction game "Zork".
(05:26) The song that plays here is "The Gonks are Here For Christmas". The ending card is a reference to Justin Timberlake's "Sexyback".
(Ending) This is the voice of Chris Griffin from the cartoon Family Guy.

EPISODE 13
(Title) It's a reference to hip-hop artist Busta Rhymes.
(00:36) This song is "YMCA" by Village People, a renowned gay anthem.
(01:13) This mini-intro parodies the intro of cartoon series "Jim Henson's Muppet Babies".
(01:50) "My Kaiba senses are tingling" is a reference to Spiderman, who says "My spider sense is tingling" every time he senses danger.
(03:06) This is a song of flash-animated cartoon Magical Trevor.
(04:02) Dr.Seuss was a writer whose children's stories often involved rhyming.
(04:28) From Joey mentioning phasers to the sound effects themselves, this is a parody "Star Trek: The Next Generation" with Joey as Riker and Yami as Picard.
(05:04) "I'm afraid your princess is in another castle" is what Mario would hear every time he cleared a castle in the NES classic.
(Ending) This is the victory music from Final Fantasy 6.

EPISODE 14
(Title) This title is a reference to the film "When Harry Met Sally".
(00:05) "I love the smell of card games in the morning" is a reference to the popular line "I love the smell of napalm in the morning" from "Apocalypse Now".
(00:45) The name of this store combines known food stores Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonalds and Burger King.
(00:58) Joey and Yugi's conversation in the diner where Tea works in her flashback is pretty much lifted word for word from "Pulp Fiction".
(01:07) Tea's line "Kiss my grits" was the catchphrase of Flo from the TV series "Alice".
(01:51) Direct parody of the Hulk. The original lines are "You won't like when I'm angry" and "Hulk Smash!"
(03:05) Clerks is a 1994 movie in which the protagonists play hockey on the roof.
(03:15) "Bucks" is slang for American currency while "quid" is slang for British currency.
(04:10) Brock is a character from the anime Pokemon who always hits on girls, especially Nurse Joy. His American voice actor is the same who plays Seto Kaiba.
(04:28) Yugi saying "Just play the damn card already" might be a reference to the website PlayTheDamnCard - LK referenced it in the Abridged Movie's ending credits.
(04:35) When you fight the hydra in PS2 videogame Kingdom Hearts 2, Phil keeps shouting (in a REALLY annoying voice) "Get up on the Hydra's back".
(04:48) The Pearl Harbor movie is centered around a World War 2 battle between American and Japanese forces.
(05:51) Ben Affleck starred in the aforementioned Pearl Harbor movie.
(06:06) The ending music is "Loser" by Beck, referencing that Yugi lost the duel.
(Ending) An infamous conversation from Dragonball Z, from when Vegita first arrived to Earth, which has become an Internet meme and is arguably the spark that began "YouTube poop" (a fad where random scenes and audio with no clear connection are spliced together).

EPISODE 15
(Title) An obvious parody of Star Wars.
(intro) The floating paragraphs are a direct reference to Star Wars (George Lucas is the movies' creator). This title at the top is a reference to the song "Duel of the Fates" from "Star Wars Episode I". The music playing is the Star Wars theme song.
(01:44) The "painfully adorable monsters" that Tea is holding include :
1st card: A Puchuu from anime Excel Saga.
2nd card: This is Mumble from CGI movie Happy Feet.
3rd card: This is Bubbles from cartoon series Powerpuff Girls.
4rd card: A Jigglypuff, a type of Pokemon.
(02:46) Chuck Norris is an actor, whose strength has often been hailed as omnipotent by the Chuck Norris Facts (a series of jokes about him).
(02:57) "Victory is mine" is one of the catch phrases of Stewie, a character of the cartoon Family Guy.
(03:06) Another reference to Star Wars, where Obi-Wan Kenobi had said : "Mos Eisley spaceport. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious."
(03:19) Mai and Kemo's conversation is (three guesses) a Star Wars reference, where Obi-Wan handwaves a Stormtrooper into letting them through.

(04:44) Yes, another Star Wars reference. The original line that Bakura paraphrased was "That's no Moon. That's a Space Station."...

(05:31) Reign of Fire is a 2002 action/science fiction film. [[Why was Kaiba so disappointed with it?]]
(05:54) This catchy music is the ending theme of Looney Toons.

EPISODE 16
(00:00) The opening scene references "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" which would frequently open with an establishing shot of a castle and Dr. Weird saying "Gentlemen, behold!" in an opening segment that had absolutely nothing to do with the plot.
(02:15) The Goonies is a 1985 film starring children. Cory Feldman was an actor playing the talented yet obnoxious kid, while Chunk is the fat and sloppy kid of the team.
(02:26) Stand By Me is a 1986 film starring children who embark on a journey to find a dead boy's body. One of the kids was played by River Phoenix.
(03:28) The song that plays when Bandit Keith does his fanservice is "Oh Yeah" by Yello, a song most famous for its use in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".
(04:23) As Mokuba says, this is a parody of 2001 : A Space Odyssey. The censored crosses resemble Monolith, and Grandpa and Kaiba sing "Daisy Bell" as HAL-9000 does as he is being shut down.
(05:03) One-Eyed Willy was the pirate whose treasures the kids of The Goonies are trying to find.
(05:19) The song being sung in the "funky satanic ritual" is the Blue Swede version of "Hooked on a Feeling".
(Ending) This one from "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast".

EPISODE 17
(00:02) The elephant and "bought the company" live-action footage actually comes from a music videoclip, specifically "Love For Sale" by Talking Heads. The "bought the company" line itself was a catchphrase of entrepreneur Victor Kiam, who purchased Remington Products after being a customer and went on to do advertisements for their electric razors using this line.
(00:21) The song playing in the background (which is also the de facto theme of the Abridged Series) is "Kawaita Sakebi" by FIELD OF VIEW, the opening theme of the original Toei Yu-Gi-Oh series.
(01:37) "You wanna play rough? Okay. Say hello to my little friend" is a reference to "Scarface".
(03:28) In the anime Excel Saga, Ilpalazzo often pulls a rope from his throne that opens a hole beneath Excel's feet that leads into a pit.
(03:43) "Very special episodes" was a theme that was given by TV critics to episodes of comedy series which became uncharacteristically dramatic. "Blossom" is often credited with the invention of this phrase as quite a few of their episodes were advertised as "very special episodes". The music used during the very special episode of Zorc and Pals is "Dearly Beloved" from Kingdom Hearts II
(05:14) This is a parody of a Mastercard advertisement. "There's some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's Mastercard."
(Ending) The ending stinger is Yami Marik as the Hypnotoad from "Futurama".

EPISODE 18
(Title) The episode title is a song lyric from Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart".
(00:28) This song is "Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen" by Rammstein.
(00:46) Yami's opening theme is Joe Esposito's "You're the Best" (from The Karate Kid). Pegasus' opening theme is the theme of "I'm From Hollywood" (a documentary about Andy Kaufman).
(03:00) Bangers and mash is an English/Irish dish made of potato and sausages.
(03:47) Spiderman is a comicbook superhero who shoots web from his hands that ties up his enemies.
(04:07) The song that plays while Toon Summoned Skull winks is "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" by Sylvester.
(04:12) H.P.Lovecraft is a writer of mostly horror/science fiction books, famous for starting the Cthulu mythos.
(04:16) Tristan is singing the Spiderman cartoon's opening theme. Its actual version plays during the ending credits.
(05:39) "What the deuce" is one of the catch phrases of Stewie, a character of the cartoon Family Guy.
(05:40) "My voice knows kung fu" is a reference to the movie "The Matrix". If you need this explained, come back to Earth from Mars, please.
(06:16) Uwe Boll is a director/producer of several God-awful films, mostly adaptations of popular videogames.
(06:38) The song that plays as Yugi "dies" is "Bright Eyes" by Art Garfunkel, popularized by the animated film adaptation of "Watership Down".
(06:59) Joey's "I felt a disturbance" line is yet another Star Wars reference.
(07:29) Liberace was a famous pianist known for his flamboyant style and his often rumored homosexuality which was never confirmed.
(08:08) Naruto:The Abridged Series is pretty self-explanatory.
(08:23) The song Tea sings when Yugi returns is "Wind Beneath My Wings" from the film "Beaches", sung by Bette Midler.
(08:51) Freddy Kruger is the evil villain from "Nightmare on Elm Street" and Jason Voorhees is the evil villain from "Friday the 13th".
(ending) These lines from the "300" film.

EPISODE 19
(Title) This is a phrase Borat (see 02:29) uses as a greeting.
(00:13) Whenever the gang of cartoon series Scooby Doo would arrest a villain, they'd always say "I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling kids"!
(00:31) Bakura's "Cards? Where we're going we don't need cards" is a reference to Doc Brown's "Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads" from the end of "Back to the Future".
(00:54) This line taken from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Commando, when he said "Remember Sully when I promised to kill you last", to which he got the answer "That's right Matrix you did" and replied "I lied".
(01:52) Pegasus' blog contains a description of his mood, a feature common to many Internet blogs including LiveJournal and MySpace.
(02:29) Shadi's character is a reference to Borat, the protagonist of the movie of the same name. "Is nice" is just one of his catchphrases.
(04:41) Labyrinth is a movie where staircases like these abound. The song that plays as Shadi explores Yami's mind room is "Magic Dance" by David Bowie - also from Labyrinth.
(05:43) In the movie "The Iron Giant" , Hogarth tells the giant "You are not a gun! You are who you choose to be! Now choose!"
(07:32) Kaiba's line about having his own tournament is taken from the Futurama episode "The Series Has Landed".
(07:49) Yami's rundown of his names includes "The Artist Formerly Known as Pharaoh", a reference to Prince, who was known as The Artist Formerly Known as Prince when he changed his name to an unpronounceable glyph.

(00:50) This is the theme of the movie Exorcist, specifically Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells".
(02:06) In the Exorcist, the possessed girl tells the priests a similar line (just the words "plays card games" were substituted, naturally).
(03:34) Pokemon is a well-known anime and videogame.
(04:32) eBay is an auctions website.
(05:16) "I wish I knew how to quit you" is a famous quote from the film "Brokeback Mountain". No further comment necessary.
(05:25) The good professor is paraphrasing Spiderman's Uncle Ben, who has told him that "With great power comes great responsibility".
(05:40) The song that plays in the final closeup of Teddy is from the film "Psycho".
(Ending) This is a line from Robocop.

EPISODE 21
(Title) The episode title is a reference to what MMORPG stands for - Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.
(00:00) The on-screen text about many copies of Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged, plus the accompanying music, are a reference to Battlestar Galactica.
(00:50) The scratching noises that the game initially makes are the sound that dial-up modems make when connecting to the Internet. (Some people don't know that anymore ._.)
(01:15) His hair is quoting the Big Bad Wolf from classic fairy tale "Three Little Pigs".
(02:42) ReBoot was the first computer-animated TV series, and its creators went on to make Transformers: Beast Wars. The plot of ReBoot revolves around beings that live in a computer.
(02:44) This fairy sprouts the lines of Navi, the fairy that guides you in Zelda : Ocarina of Time. And yes, she was that annoying.
(02:58) Agrabah is the city where the Aladdin movies take place. Mokuba mentions the genie's voice actors, Robin Williams and Dan Castallaneta.
(03:29) Tristan and Tea are reciting the lyrics of the song "Trouble" by Shampoo. It was used in "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie" and later in "St.Trinians".

I only went up to Episode 20. There are many more errors after that. For instance, Charlie Brown's and Snoopy's comic strip is called "Peanuts", the "Dinsdale" reference isn't explained in re who Spiny Norman is, etc. And I'm sure there will be more in the future, because I'm certain that there's going to be a mistake on where Slifer the Executive Producer's voice came from in Episode 32.

The actualy title of episode 15 is "Card Wars" an obvious reference to Star Wars.

And since this hasn't come up, yet in the list, Yami saying "Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage" is a line from a song called "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" by The Smashing Pumpkins.

*(01:49) ?Exodia go down the hole? is a Parody of the line ?Water go down the hole.? Spoken by Baby Plucky is a short from the animated show Tiny Toons. In the episode it shows an infant Plucky learning that he can flush things down the toilet. He repeats the line many times in the episode flushing numerous items.
* (02:19) ?I?m the goddamn Kaibaman? is actually a quote from a current comic book series written by Frank Millar called All-Star Batman and Robin. In it he has a very mean spirited Batman who says things like ?Im the goddamn Batman.? This version of Batman is not very popular with fans thus the need to poke fun at it.
* (02:52) This is a parody of the infamous Jar-Jar Bink?s line best known from the Episode 1 trailer. This exact line was also parodied in South Park?s Movie Bigger Longer and Uncut.
* (04:04) seems obvious but it is worth noting that this is a reference to how when videogames come out on the Wii they are usually at a much lower quality than those of the PS3 of Xbox360. Usually even worse than the Wii itself is able to handle. They are laughably bad sometime.

In episode 40 during the ghost thing, it isn't just Nappa. Its Ghost-Nappa. A fictional character made by TeamFourStar at the end of the episode 10 finale to torture Vegeta for all of eternity. After the stinger, he talks about their wierd hair. Nappa does this in DBZ abridged, except mentions that there are too many bald people. He also thinks Chaotzu is a Pokemon (see the connection)

For the first 20 or so episodes, it was consistently funny because it poked fun more at the show itself rather than inserting obscure references and memes in place of actual jokes, which is alright once and a while, but eventually the style of humor just got stale.

Its still mildly funny now, but its clear that LK jumped the shark at some point in the production. That said, The Abridged Series was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen when it was in its prime
