I've loved the abridged series from day one, when the first episode was released, and I died at how true every joke was. Me and my friends all loved it so much, that we cosplayed it for the Fanexpo Masquerade, in Toronto Canada. Now I thought that only a few people would get the abridged references, but as soon as we got up there, the entire, thousand person auditorium, erupted. We were the most beloved skit, and by far the funniest, and we were so glad that our tribute to Littlekuriboh et al.'s work was so well received.
This Topic is to discuss just how far this Internet pop-culture has actually spread.
Here's our skit, if anyone's interested:

Basically, since we couldn't find anyone to cosplay Yami, Joey, Triston or Kaiba, we tried to figure out how we could still make it funny without them-- so we figured that all those main characters had left the show, and the remaining characters were trying to figure out who should get their screen-time. I think we were pretty true to LittleKuriboh's style, and remember this was a tribute, not a copy. (The sign at the end says, "We ,<3 Littlekuriboh!"
NOTE: I was Kemo, in the skit :)
