Hi, just made an account, but i've browsed the forums on and off a bit. Just watched this episode, I was surprised when I was [0 views] though. =p Took a screenshot cause I know you people like to taunt each other about that, but I can't figure out this image posting for the life of me. And yes, i'm a forum noob in general. I'm very aware. Ah well.

Hm, the episode..wasn't laugh-out-loud funny, but it made me giggle. The sonic music was a nice touch. XD The fact that you threw your overdemanding fanbase a bone in and of itself makes me say Thanks for another episode, LK. <img src='/images/emoticons/smiley1.png'>

So he did this AND guest stared on DBZ abridged (all 10 seconds). This was a great episode. Loved the Kazuki Takahashi joke and Baby Dragon/Chaizard comparison (God, I hope Nintendo doesn't sue).
I almost died when I heard the fans, because that is the same type of voice I've used to make fun of this annoying girl (if you can call her that) I know, who is a Pirate/Star Wars fan (each of which has been called crap in this series at one point or another).

I loved this episode! Which makes me very happy, because I actually didn't like episode 30. I've been feeling like the series has come to rely TOO much on references, but Crapsule Monsters 2 made me laugh pretty hard.

I think people not getting the Sonic reference (or more precisely which game the music appeared in) makes me realise how old I am. I played that game as a child religiously and now I realise that many people here will have been too young for that.

As for the episode, it was ok. I do not find referencing random cult classics (FotC, Army of Darkness etc) funny, though there was actually some Yu-Gi-Oh! humour, so it made it a mixed bag. The invisible bike joke and the pokemon references seemed the best, simply because they were mocking the animation.

The one thing I don't get is the crying child. Is this a recent meme I haven't heard of, or simply something that passed me by?

I really liked the scene where this Pikachu-like monster attacts the monster that protects itself with water.

But what I like most, is the fact, that LK actually ridicules the plot. I missed this a lot in the last episodes, where it seemed that he used the references to compensate the fact that there was nothing to make fun of. (Which makes "abridging 101" funnier, but still...)

I think it was the second episode of adventure? I think LK used Pokemon because:

1. More people are familiar with it; if he'd used a Digimon joke I wouldn't have gotten it because what little I've seen of Digimon I can hardly remember.

2. Yu-Gi-Oh was/is constantly being hammered for being a "Pokemon rip-off," not a Digimon one (as Digimon also got smack for being a Pokemon rip-off), so it wouldn't make as much sense to use Digimon or anything else anyways. Besides, most of Pokemon was also dubbed by 4Kids, so already there's a sort of bond, aside from the fact that they have similar concepts.

Anyway, this episode did give the perfect NEW shirt Idea.

Its could show a stick figure in the air (With the pharoahs hair), and it could say, "You're just jealous because I have an Invisible Bicycle!"

Some great referencing this time, LK. The jokes about the plot element do become reptitive and cliche, so poking fun at everything it rips off is basically teh next step in comedy. You do it well too.

Incidentally, what is the Boom King thing from? Someone mentioned a Space Ghost reference, but I didn't catch any; Is this it? Did SG say that after zapping Zorak one time?

He's from a viral video entitled "Blood" where he panics to his father (the one filming) about how his mom was helping his baby brother who got a cut and was bleeding, exclaiming "Blood!" The comedy of it is in his awkward pronunciation of the word, and, eventually getting fed up with his father's laughing, shrieks "IT'S NOT FUNNYYYYYYYYY!!!"
Just look it up on YouTube, you'll find it eventually.

I was actually pretty satisfied with this episode. I think it can hold me over for a few weeks.

The early episodes and when catch phrases first started and returned only rarely. Later everyone abused them and at some LittleUK just whored them out.

I like the jokes that actually point out the flaws of the series. The joke where Arkana explains his saw-trap was hilarious up until LittleUK took another snap at 4Kids' ankles.

I don't have a lot of need to post positive stuff, you guys do enough of that. If I didn't like the series I wouldn't be watching it nor would I be the most frequent poster nor would I be a sub-mod.
