x-men three-Waste of Good mutants, changing of mutants powers, useless mutants,to much crap in it,Weak Dark Phoniex, Should just be renamed "Wolverine The Movie...with the others tagging along" 6/10(Would be lower but it has Dania Ramirez in it...and that means it gets lots of bonus points for that!)
spiderman 2- 8/10 Great Fights.Best of the 3 Spidey Movies.
spiderman 3-6/10 Once again Too much stuff crammed into it. Screwed up Venom. Rushed Venom. Included Venom as not even the main bad guy. Dark Parker. Topher Grace. Venom sounding like a Xenomorph. New goblin looking more like a Power Ranger then the first Green Goblin did.

OK...
Fantastic Four- This franchise was based from the start, not upon how to make a competent action film that would appeal to a broad audience, but on Jessica Alba and how to concoct pathetic excuses for us to see her naked in each film. The films, especially the first one, are, to put it bluntly, boring, which, as a superhero ACTION movie, is simply inexcusable.
Star Wars Episode III- Having been born in 1990, I was too late for the original trilogy in theaters, but after watching the films on VHS and DVD in 1999 and now in 2007, I think they're good sci-fi films, not worth obsessing over, but movies that stand the test of time. I'm no Star Wars geek, and the only reason I bring this up is because I still, to this day, can't believe how much I had deluded myself into believing that Episode I and II were good films, films worthy of begging Dad to watch with me over and over, films worthy of dressing up in Halloween costumes, when, in reality, like Fantastic Four, are only fully watchable when simultaneously played with a Rifftrax commentary. So, along came Episode III, and, while it wasn't a total crapheap like I and II, isn't capable of being REMEMBERED like the original trilogy. While Revenge of the Sith was helped by its dark tone, it's still a film that promoted special effects over substance in an effort to bring in new nerds while trying to please old ones, and just missing the mark.
X-Men: the Last Stand- While it's not as bad as the Fantastic Four films, it's still not as good as its predecessors. It's, frankly, forgettable, and, again, we're describing a SUPERHERO action movie that way; it just shouldn't happen.
Spider-Man 2- THIS is what I'm talking about. This is a well-done superhero action movie with great performances, great action scenes, actual emotion, and putting story and substance before product placement (prominent Dodge logo on the Fantasticar, anyone?). Also, I think this was the last serious movie to use the "NOOOOOOO!" cliche before Star Wars Episode III killed it completely (Team America doesn't count)
Spider-Man 3- This is what I talked about in X-Men 3. The most talked about scene in your SUPERHERO ACTION movie should NOT be the main character dancing and leaking douchiness through the streets. Oh, and I use the term "douche" and not "emo" to describe Peter Parker in this film, because that's what he is in 3; you want an emo character? Look no further that Sandman.
Sherk the Third- Apparently, this franchise is going to end after the FIFTH installment, and, really, I can't blame them. Shrek 1-3 made a huge mountain of money EACH, so why not milk the ogre for all he's worth? Actually, I can think of a reason; Shrek the Third sucked. All the funny jokes were in the trailer. The crude humor jokes, while toned down from Shrek 2, are still unfortunatly a constant to this series, and, because of the baby premise, seem to be justified completely on those grounds because babies are gross and funny hahaha all the way to the bank. And while I give Justin Timberlake some slack for attempting to reform from days of N'Sync past (Dick in a Box is great), his character is annoying, dumb, and not funny in the slightest, and the very fact that "Third"'s plot is BASED AROUND him just makes one ask "what's the point?"
Well, that was fun. But, hey, it's the weekend and I'm bored; most things are.

fantastic four: average at best. Chiklis was great as the Thing, but that was it.
sta wars episode three: the best of the prequels by far, but not a patch on the originals.
xmen three : dumber, but more fun than the first two.
spiderman 2: great stuff. The best of the Spider-man movies.
spiderman 3: fun, but not as good as 2. Too many villains.
shrek the thrid: haven't seen it and I'm not in a hurry to either.

Fantastic Four - It had potential, and was better than a few other Superhero movies, but a bar below others. It had some great comedy moments that made me laugh out loud, but I felt the characters were, in some places, under developed and the action was incredibly lacking. I haven't seen the second one yet, but I'm not expecting a great improvement.
Star Wars Episode III - Definetly the best of the new trilogy. It's by no means a classic, but it does have bits that I thought were powerful. For one, the jedi eradication scene, a great plot device, and the music added with the character reactions (some of those bit part Jedi were actually better actors than the main characters) made it an emotional scene, regardless whether the deaths carrried plot holes. I thought the final battle was entertaining, and the scene in which Anikan is scarred was quite powerful.
That said, the acting in some places was abysmal, the plot felt a little loose, some of the characters like Grievous were underused and some scenes just looked so bad you wonder how they actually looked at them after they filmed and said "That's a rap lads!". Finally, Anikan's descent into the dark side wasn't done particuarly well, but it is sometimes made worse than it was by the fans.
X-men 3 - I personally see it as a little underrated. Like the above it's no classic, but it had scenes which were entertaining. Xaviers demise reminded me of Optimus' death in the old Transformers movie, and I thought that scene was handled well.
What wasn't handled well was Cyclops. I always get people saying "Well he was doing Superman Returns", well maybe that would have worked with Wolverine, since the whole series revolved around him, but all that Scott had done in the series was a few fights (with a loose meeting on that) in the first me, one fight and a steamy visor in the second and now to do nothing and die in the beggining of the third movie? Horrible. They barely share a tear for him too, was he really that unloved in the X-men squad? I mean he was their leader afterall...
Spiderman 2 - A good sequel , better than the original and I could easily return to watch it again. I didn't like the ending, it would've been better if it ended with Harry discovering the Goblin's equipment (I mean we see him at the Wedding applauding and looking like it never happened), the ending just seemed so forced.
Spiderman 3 - Didn't get round to seeing it.
Shrek The Third - Everyone loved it, I thought it barely qualified as a good movie. It was boring, overly cheesy (yeah I'm saying that about a kids movie) and just lacked the comedy that the first 2 films had. I did find myself laughing once or twice in the movie, ironically sometimes I laughed and no one else did, not that I have a bad sense of humour, but the joke was quite complicated and all the little kids in the cinema just didn't get it.
