...*Tilts head slightly*
This topic already exists, it's dead, but it already existed. If you want a Doctor Who topic badly just revive the old one, not that I'm saying reviving dead topics is a good idea (it's not), but it's better than making the exact same topic. Just future reference for you.
(I'm not trying to be mean)
PS: I love Doctor Who :)

While I was in Northern Ireland, I bought the Doctor Who Visual Dictionary. It's so cool.
I haven't seen all of the first, second, and third series - Ninth Doctor and Tenth - but I really like them. I'll pick up the DVDs when I can.

I haven't bought it yet as it only covers the new series. Maybe an updated edition....

Eccleston = Better Doctor
Tennant = Better Actor

Just my opinion. Don't read too much into it.

cant wait until series 4 is filmed so i can go on doctor who forums and find out stuff, like i knew about the daleks vs. cybermen war for months and the fob secret for a year. Whilst evry1 else at school was wondering what would happen at the end of series 3 i was saying "the master's in it". YAY Martha is coming back.

I've never been able to get into it, I could cite the special effects and the over the top cheesiness of the show but since I'm a huge Farscape fan that argument can't really be used. Different strokes for different folks and all that I guess.

Favorite Doctor: Tom Baker
Most Kickassinist Doctor: Jon Pertwee. I can't deny that Third will pwn all of their butts with his Venusian Akido.

Favorite Assistant- Martha Jones. Sure she didn't shoot the Master, but what she did was FREAKIN' Awesome!

Martha's my favourite assistant too. Shame she's in only half of season 4 (and I'm a little worried about Catherine "Bovvered" Tate doing a regular role - it's a big gamble), but the upside is that she's in Torchwood. No doubt for a gay old time......

I'm looking foward to Tate being on again. I see her as a older verson of Lucie Miller from the 8th doctor radio plays on BBC7 earlier this year. I liked her a lot better than the girl before that.

Apparently the 5th series is going to be delaid till 2010. Which makes me think: Is there going to be another regeneration at the end of the coming series? Hmmm.,. you never now. If there is, that kinda sucks because I like David Tennant as the Doctor, but then again, I guess there would have to be another regeneration at some point. Either way I'm looking forward to the upcoming series.

For all the 8th doctor lovers BBC7 is going to be re-running the Big Finish Eighth Doctor audios that have aired on the station over the next several weeks. The series begins Monday, September 10th at 6pm with Shada, and continues every weeknight thereafter.
Now to edit my post in the DNA thread.

Well, I'm OK with recent Doctor Who but I LOOOOOOVE all the pre-movie Doctors 1,000,000 times more. The new one just gets so... emo. And he's a spaz. Not that there's anything wrong with that. At least he wears converse. I guess what I'm trying to say is I wish they'd go back to telling me stories about exciting chase scenes on planets made of egg cartons and good synth music instead of feeding me hour long villain-a-day melodramatic rants about how hardcore the Doctor is. Where's Tom Baker when you need him?

Many fans like you would like to see some more ridiculously Douglas Adams-like adventures. The again Human Nature came off a bit like shada if you ask me. I miss him being asexual and not able to touch the comparions.

Utopia is on tomorrow for the fans in america. I have to say that Sci-fi is really bad on doing tailers. They totaly gave away that cilmax of the episode. But wvoot John gets is name in the title credits.

I heard that there's gonna be a series in 2008, and then a christmas special, but then they're gonna skip 2009.
Somthing to do with the actors not having time, and David tennant starring in "ShakeSpears Tempest".

There are going to be three episodes in 2009. Then a new season in 2010.

I'm not that interested in the old series but I love the new one. I love Doctor #10 (Tennant), but I kinda miss #9 (Eccleston) I wish he had just one more season.

yamiangie

The screwdriver has limits It can't open dead sealed locks.
The original series has it's charm. AT least watch the Five Doctors and City of Death.
